Outreach is another function of the evangelism that can have many facets. We share God’s word through outreache ministry. The word “Out Reach” giving out into community – reaching out to others with the Love of Jesus Christ.
Good Shepherd Jesus Christ Church’s servants of God are gifted by the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 4: 7-8;11-13, state that “but to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Jesus Christ’s gifts. Therefore he says when we ascended on high he led captivity captive and gave gifts to men”, He himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists , some pastors and teachers for equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of body of Christ.
Some of our servants of God from our church go door to door for ministry by giving tracts, sharing gospel of Christ with everyone whom they meet and inviting them for cell group meeting to attend church service. We conduct evangelical meetings/crusades for the goal of spreading the gospel and calling others to Christ.
According to this word, from 2014, Pastor Samuel Raja and Sister Benitta are reaching out in a practical sense to those who are in need such as widows, single mothers, elderly who are lonely and home bound, hospitalised people with addiction and separation from family and people with sickness offering care, encouragement and godly counsel for those who are facing challenges in their life.
